The marriage of Miss Lucille Kaufman, formerly of this place, and Arthur A. Cleary, both of Chicago, took place Monday morning at nine o'clock at the Blessed Sacrament church, Rev. Father Burns performing the ceremony. The groom's brother, T. H. Cleary, acted as best man and Miss Edith O'Brien as bridesmaid. The bride wore a becoming dress of pale blue nun's veiling over white taffeta silk. Mr. and Mrs. Cleary have many friends here who wish them a long and prosperous life. They will reside in Chicago.

Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 02 Jan. 1908. North McGregor column.
