Oldfather - Sloan marriage - 1927

OLDFATHER, SLOAN

Last Wednesday Glen Oldfather and Miss Beulah Sloan were united in marriage at the Methodist church at Arlington, Rev. Robert Davies officiating. Miss Sloan has lived in our community for two years. She is a graduate from Tipton High Schools, and also from Cedar Falls. She was a successful teacher at Tripoli for three years. Glen is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Oldfather and has been raised here. The young couple went to Kansas City on a wedding trip, after which they will be at home at their new home that has been erected on his father's farm.
