Schmidt - Domer marriage - 1927

A quiet wedding took place in the Congregational parsonage last Friday when Miss Sadie A. Domer became the bride of Robert R. Schmidt. Rev. W. W. Maxwell performed the ceremony. The young couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Truair, brother-in-law and sister of the bride. The groom is the third son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Schmidt of this city. He graduated from the Strawberry Point high school with the class of 1923, and was trained as a lino-type operator in the local Press office, serving an apprenticeship of nearly five years. He now has a good position in a Waterloo printing shop. The bride was born at Lamont and received her education in the Lamont schools. She is the fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Domer of Winthrop. After a wedding trip to Minneapolis the young couple will reside in Waterloo.
