Miss Clara C. Nelson of Elgin, Iowa, and Walter W. Martie, of Elkader, were united in marriage at the Evangelical parsonage by Rev. C. H. Franke Wednesday, March 9, in the presence of Lloyd and Marie Nelson. The bride is a daughter of Christ Nelson, of Elgin, and the groom is the son of Joseph Martie of this place. The young couple will reside on a farm near Elgin.
