Brewer - Fischer marriage - 1927

On Feb. 2, Sergeant Earl V. Brewer, Elkader, Iowa, and Jeanette Fischer, Philip, South Dakota, were united in marriage at the Chapel at Fort Des Moines, Iowa. The ceremony was performed by Chaplain C. L. Miller, U.S. Army. The bride is of a prominent South Dakota family and the groom, a former professional baseball player, is now a Sergeant with the 14th U.S. Cavalry. He is the son of Frank W. Brewer of Elkader. The couple will reside in Des Moines.
