Miss Hattie L. Kahlbaum, daughter of William Kahlbaum of this place and Carl Kelpien, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas Kelpien, also of Elkader, were united in marriage here in the Evangelical parsonage by Rev. C. H. Franke at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, January 26th.
