A wedding of interest took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wagner, living south of Monona, when their youngest daughter, Marie C., was married to Edward Huckstadt, of Farmersburg.

The attendants were Emma Huckstadt, sister of the groom, and Georgie Wagner, brother of the bride. Rev. Brown, of Farmersburg officiating.

The groom is a promising young farmer and has served a year in Uncle Sam's army in France. He was wounded the 27th of Sept. 1918, at St. Quentien, and was confined to the American Base hospital in England for two months following. He returned from overseas last December.

The young couple will make their home on the Huckstadt farm west of Farmersburg.

Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 18 Dec. 1919. Condensed.
