The marriage of Miss Amy Richardson to Mr. Ralph Alderman, of Nevada, Iowa, was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Richardson, of this place, Tuesday morning. Rev. G. R. Hull performed the ceremony. The guests present were: Representative and Mrs. U. S. Alderman of Story City, the parents of the groom; Dr. Glen J. Meier of Clarion, Mrs. D. A. Omeyer, of St. Paul, Minn., and Miss Ethel Richardson, of Kellog, Minn. The bride and groom will take a short wedding trip before returning to Nevada where they will be at home to their friends after May 1. Mrs. Alderman is well known to our readers having been born in Elkader and grown to womanhood among us. She graduated from the Elkader High school in 1916, and was stenographer for Attorney W. A. Preston. Last August she was offered a position with the Iowa Mutual Implement company at Nevada, and was employed there until a few weeks ago. Ralph Alderman is one of Nevada's prominent young business men. He is the editor of the Story County Representative and the son of Hon. U. S. Alderman, prominent in legal and political affairs in Story county. Our wish and that of many friends here that many years of joy and happiness and prosperity will be their portion in life.

Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 24 Apr. 1919. Condensed.
