Halz - Hoyer marriage 1919

HALZ, HOYER, SCHUG, GROTH

On Monday afternoon in the German Lutheran church the marriage of Miss Anna Hoyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hoyer of this place, to Mr. Alfred Halz of Rock Island. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Chas. Schaefer and Rev. Fritschel performed the ceremony. The brides brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schug were the attendants. Little Eveyln Groth, a niece of the bride, was flower girl.

The bride is a graduate from our high school and for a number of years taught school, until the past year when she went to Rock Island to work in the arsenal. Rock Island will be the couples future home.
