Wilke - Jensen marriage - 1919

Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock Rev. C. H. Franke joined Caroline L. Jensen and Walter F. Wilke in the bonds of wedlock, the ceremony taking place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lindeman in Read township.

The bride is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Henry Lindeman, and has lived in and around Elkader all her life, being a member of the class of 1913 of the Elkader High School.

The bridegroom is the son of August Wilke and is an industrious young farmer.

The young couple will reside on the Diers farm at Motor and their many friends extend good wishes.
