At the home of A. Katschkowsky on Monday evening, Dec. 8th, occurred the marriage of Miss Winnifred Klinkel to Mr. Lester E. Van Pelt, the ceremony performed by Rev. C. H. Franke. Miss Klinkel is the daughter of Casper Klinkel, now of West Union, and is at present engaged as chief operator at the Standard Telephone office in this city. Mr. Van Pelt is employed at the R. C. Quinn barber shop, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Van Pelt, of Decorah, Iowa. The young couple will remain in Elkader, having rented rooms in the Molumby block, where they will reside.
