Hamman - Schmidt marriage - 1913

Wm. Hamman, of Waubay S.D., and Alma Schmidt, of this place, were married at the German Lutheran church, Thursday afternoon Nov. 27th, Rev. Theo. F. Guetzlaff officiating. Miss Hilda Schmidt sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Amelia Kutzbach, a cousin of the groom, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Will Fascher and Harry Kuthe, both his cousins. After the ceremony the guests, about 85 families, repaired to the Citizen's Opera House, where a sumptuous supper was served, after which a merry dance was engaged in. Mr. Hamman is engaged in farming, near Waubay, S.D., where the happy couple will be at home to their friends after Jan. 1. We extend congratulations.
