Schmidt - Baade marriage - 1913

On Wednesday afternoon, at the German Lutheran church, Etta Baade, of this place, and George E. Schmidt, of Canistota, S.D., were united in marriage by Rev. Theo. F. Guetzlaff. Miss Jennie Baade, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and Fred Schmidt, brother of the groom, was best man. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Baade, who moved to this place from their farm near Monona last spring. The groom is in business in Canistota, S.D., where they intend to move soon.
