On Monday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church in this city Rev. Janzig united in marriage Miss Hazel Dubbels and Otto Beerman. Dr. Earnest Beerman and Miss Lydia Rogalin, of Chicago, were the attendants. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dubbels, of this city,. She was born and grew to womanhood here, and was successfully engaged as teacher in the rural schools of Clayton county until a few years ago, when she accepted the position of night operator in the Standard Telephone Office, which position she held until a few weeks ago. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beerman, Sr., of this city. At present he holds a position with the C., M. and St. P. Railroad Company at Sioux City, Iowa, where the couple will make their home.
