Charley Baldwin, a genial clerk at the Killen & Co. store, took his friends completely by surprise by passing around the cigars Monday, with the announcement that he was married the day before, at Prairie du Chien. The bride is Miss Emma Groth, residing with her mother and brother, south of town. The young couple were attended by Frank Kurby and Blanche Anderson. Their many Monona friends join in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin the best of life's happiness.
