On Good Friday about high noon occurred the marriage of Mr. Tom Butcher and Miss Anna Bennington, at the latter's fine old home east of Volga, Rev. Geo. M. Shoemaker officiating. Only the immediate relatives were present, which included Mrs. Griffith and son Wyboro, of Marion. After the ceremony the bridal party took the train for Lawrence, Mich., where Mr. Butcher has a nice new home for his wife. The bride is a daughter of the late S. Bennington. The groom is of English parentage and used to live around here years ago.
