Wirkler - Dettmer marriage - 1907

WIRKLER, DETTMER

The wedding of Emma Dettmer and Erwin C, Wirkler took place Tuesday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dettmer. The guests were limited to a few close family friends and relatives. The wedding march was played by Carrie Wirkler. The attendants were Helen Dettmer and Alfred Wirkler, sister and brother respectively of the bride and groom. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Mall, of St. Peter's Lutheran church. The young couple will be at home on their farm one mile and a half West of town. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Wirkler. He has held several offices in years past and at present is serving his third term as township clerk.
