On Tuesday morning, Feb. 12th, at the Sacred Heart church in Volga City, occurred the marriage of Mr. Wm. J. Glennon and Miss Rosa E. Shea, Rev. Father Hetherington, officiating. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast and reception was held at the home of the bride, after which Mr. and Mrs. Glennon took the train for St. Louis, where they will visit relatives.
The bride is one of Sperry Township's fairest, and has taught in the schools of Fayette and Clayton county, the last three years in the intermediate room of the Volga school. She is a daughter of Wm. Shea. The groom is one of the worthy young men of that vicinity and has a host of friends. They will settle down to real life on the farm owned by the groom, about four miles south of Volga.
