On Thursday evening, Dec. 20th, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kruse, occurred the marriage of their daughter Amanda, to Arno J. Kaiser, of National. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Otto Wappler, of Monona. The wedding march was played by Ernst Kaiser at the violin, and Hildagood Kaiser at the piano. The attendants were Frieda Kaiser and Harvey Kaiser, and the little flower girls were Ruby Bentein and Irene Kaiser. The guests numbered about 130. The bridal party departed the following morning for Sumner, Iowa, where they will spend a few weeks, after which they will return to Monona to make their future home on the Kruse farm east of town.

Elkader Register, Thur., 03 Jan. 1907. Monona column. Condensed.
