Fredrick - Otdoerfer marriage - 1915

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Otdoerfer, of Strawberry Point, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Thursday morning, December 30th, when their daughter, Marie M., was united in marriage to John C. Fredrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fredrick, Sr., of near this place. Rev. Fuehr of St. Sebald performed the ceremony in the presence of the nearest relatives. The bride was attended by Miss Leta Feulner, cousin of the bride, and Miss Hilda Fredrick, sister of the groom, while Walter Fredrick, brother of the groom, and Fred Nodurity, cousin of the bride, acted as best men. The happy couple will go to housekeeping on the groom's farm near Arlington, Iowa.
