A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crain on Wednesday, May 17th, when their daughter, Emma A., was united in marriage to William Henning. The couple were attended by Miss Johanna Henning and Glen Crain, sister of the groom and brother of the bride. Rev. Braun, of Farmersburg, performed the double ring ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony supper was served to about sixty guests. Both young people are well known and highly esteemed in this community and the St. Olaf band boys surprised them by arriving shortly before 4 o'clock and serenading them during the afternoon and evening. The couple will reside in St. Olaf, where Mr. Henning is the proprietor of a jewelry store.
