Daily - Meier marriage - 1916

On Wednesday, August 2nd, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. F. Meier, of Farmersburg, Iowa, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Chloe, to Mr. Leonard Daily, of Milford, Iowa. Rev. George H. Vollmer, a brother-in-law of the bride, officiated.

The bride is a graduate of the McGregor High School and of the Iowa Teachers College at Cedar Falls. For the past three years she has been teaching Latin and mathematics in the high school at Milford, Iowa, where she met Mr. Daily, who is connected with the First National Bank at that place.

The event was a quiet affair, only the immediate relatives being present. Out of town guests were G. I. Daily, of Owatonna, Minn., Rev. and Mrs. Geo. H. Vollmer, of Lost Nation, Iowa, and Miss Ida Wentland, of Charles City.
