Morris - McTaggart marriage - 1916

On Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock in the Sacred Heart Church on Cox Creek, occurred the marriage of Miss Mattie McTaggart and Mr. Thomas Morris, Father Casey officiating. They were attended by Miss Anna Thyne and Mr. W. J. Burnes. After the ceremony a bountiful wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike McTaggart. They departed at once on an extended wedding tour, after which they will return to Strawberry Point, where the groom has a beautifully furnished home awaiting his bride.
