Smith - Baskerville marriage - 1916

SMITH, BASKERVILLE

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Baskerville, of Earlville, Iowa, on Wednesday, June 14th, occurred the marriage of their daughter Roberta to Ernest T. Smith, of Volga, Iowa. The Rev. A. M. McIntosh, of Earlville, officiated. Both parties are graduates of Upper Iowa University. For the past year the bride has been teaching in Sutherland, Iowa, High School. The groom has been superintendent of the public schools at Oberon, N.D. They departed that afternoon and will spend some time visiting relatives and friends in various parts of Iowa. They will be at home after August first at Leeds, N.D., where Mr. Smith will be superintendent of city schools.
