On Wednesday, September 27th, Edward Johnson and Kittie Little surprised their many friends by going to Monona and being married at noon by Rev. E. G. Glaeser. The bride wore a beautiful suit of brown poplin with hat to match. The groom wore the usual dark blue. Miss Little is the youngest daughter of Mrs. John Little and is one of Farmersburg's most poular ladies, having spent all her life here. Mr. Johnson is well and favorably known, being engaged in the Walter garage. Immediately after the ceremony the bridal party departed for La Crosse, Wis., and on their return Saturday evening their many friends gave them a reception at the home of Samuel Little, where they received many beautiful and useful presents. They will be at home to their friends after November 1st at Farmersburg, Iowa.
