Liddy - Kingkade marriage - 1916

Jerry P. Liddy was married yesterday to Miss Mabel Kingkade, in St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, at Ames, Iowa. Miss Bernadette Liddy, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid, and Bernie Kingkade best man.

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kingkade.

The young people departed immediately for New York and Brooklyn, where they will spend their honeymoon.

Upon their return they will make their home on a farm west of Elkader.

Mr. Liddy is well known in Elkader and has numerous friends who wish him a bright and happy future. The bride is a prominent and popular young woman of Ames. She is assured of a hearty reception in Elkader, and we all welcome them to their new home.
