The many friends of Miss Letta Hayes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hayes, of this place, will be pleased to learn of her marriage on Tuesday, Dec. 27th, to Milton W. Knapp, of Aurora, marriage ceremony being performed at Independence, Rev. Taylor, of the Methodist church, officiating. The bride is a charming young lady and has many friends in Strawberry Point who extend congratulations. For several years past she has taught in the schools of Aurora, and is highly esteemed for the efficient service she gave. The groom is a popular young man of Aurora, being postmaster of that place. After a short wedding trip to Des Moines, and a short visit with the bride's parents at this place, they will be at home to their many friends in Aurora.
