Henkes - Klasen marriage - 1911

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Klasen, Wednesday afternoon, March 22nd, at 4 o'clock, occurred the marriage of their daughter Amanda to Oscar Henkes, of Monona township, Rev. Franke, of Elkader, officiating. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present. Mr. and Mrs. Henkes will begin housekeeping on a farm in Monona township. We wish them happiness and prosperity.
