At St. Patrick's church, Monona, Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1911, occurred the marriage of Miss Katharyn Ryan to Mr. Stephen P. Murphy, of Dubuque. The marriage ceremony was pronounced by Rev. Father G. Murphy, of Blue Earth, Minn., a brother of the groom, assisted by Rev. Father Hogan, the local pastor. The bridal couple were unattended. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Margaret Ryan, and comes from one of the most widely known and much respected families of the town. The groom is a excellent man, a well known representative of the International Harvester Co., in whose employ he has been for a number of years. The couple departed for an extended wedding trip through the west. They will be at home after Feb. 1st. A host of friends join in extending hearty congratulations.

Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 19 Jan. 1911. Condensed.
