The marriage of Miss Elsie D. Norton to Frederick D. Patterson was solemnized in Monona, Saturday, Feb. 18th, 1911, at 10 o'clock a.m., at the home of the bride's brother-in-law, M. S. Eddy, Rev. W. E. King, Congregational minister, officiating. The couple was unattended. The bride was born and grew to womanhood in this city, and is one of Monona's excellent young women. She is a graduate of the Toland Business College, of La Crosse, and for the past six years has held a responsible position with the firm of Swift & Co., at St. Paul. The groom also holds an important position with the Swift Company. Among the useful and beautiful gifts received by the bridal couple was a substantial check from the Superintendent and head officers of the firm with which they were employed. Mr. and Mrs. Patterson left on the evening train for Chicago and other points east, and will return to St. Paul to make their future home.
