Schlitter - Henkes marriage - 1911

Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Henkes, occurred the marriage of their eldest daughter Mabel to John Schlitter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Schlitter. Miss Clara Frank served as bridesmaid and Albert Henkes was best man. Rev. H. Rabe officiated. The young couple is favorably known here, both being born and reared in the neighborhood of Monona. They will make their home on the groom's farm, about one mile north of Watson. We join with their many friends in wishing them Godspeed on life's journey.
