The marriage of Miss Anna D. Dunn, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Dunn, and Daniel J. Raftis, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Raftis, of Wadena, was solemnized Tuesday morning at nine o'clock at Sacred Heart church, in Cox Creek township, Rev. Father Hartigan officiating. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Mae Dunn, while Mr. Frank Raftis, brother of the groom acted as best man. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Raftis departed for the North on a wedding trip. They will be at home after September first at Wadena, Iowa. The couple are representatives of two of the oldest and most prominent families of Clayton and Fayette counties. The bride is a graduate of Saint Clara College, Sinsinawa, Wisconsin, and has been a successful teacher of her county. The groom is one of Wadena's prominent insurance men, for which he has been equipped by a liberal education, having graduated from the Upper Iowa University of Fayette, and is destined for a successful career.
