Monday, June 26th, 1911, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Smith, occurred the marriage of their eldest daughter, Miss Florence, to Ray Pollock, of Nora Springs. Miss Gladys Smith played the wedding march, and the ceremony was performed by Rev. Bear, pastor of the M.E. church, of which the bride has been a member since a child. After the ceremony a four course lunch was served. Mrs. Pollock graduated from the Volga High school, also spent a year of preparatory at Long Beach, Cal., from which she entered Cornell College, graduating from there, and for the past two years has held a position in the Panora High School. Mr. Pollock is also from Cornell College and holds a position in the Nora Springs bank. They will reside in Nora Springs.
