Miss Nettie Thomas of Luana and Vernon Koons of Elkader were married at nine o'clock p.m. Saturday, December 4th, 1926, by Rev. C. H. Franke at the Evangelical parsonage here.

The bride is the daughter of John Thomas of Luana and the groom a son of Ralph Koons of near Elkader. They were attended by Harry D. and Alice M. Short of this place. They will go to housekeeping on a farm.
