A pretty home wedding was celebrated at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Echart in this city on last Thursday afternoon (Thanksgiving) at five o'clock, when their daughter, Agnes Grace, was united in marriage with Mr. Hubert B. Tangeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Tangeman of Garnavillo, in the presence of a number of near relatives and friends. Rev. R. R. Belter, pastor of St. Paul's United Lutheran church was the officiating clergyman.
The wedding march was played by the bride's sister, Miss Una Eckart, and a pathway of yellow ribbons was made by Miss Zella Ruth Eckart and Master Gene Eberhard, cousin and nephew of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of the Guttenberg High School, and is a young lady held in the highest esteem by all in this community. The groom is a young man of sterling integrity and worth, and one who has won the respect of all who have the pleasure of his acquaintance.
