Another wedding of interest to our community was solemnized by Rev. C. Meyn at St. Peter's church Wednesday, June 23rd at 6 o'clock in the evening, the contracting couple being Miss Maruerite Allyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Allyn of this place and Mr. Oscar Hoth of Westgate, Ia. The wedding march was played by Miss Stella Hoth, sister of the groom, and Miss Florence Allyn was flower girl and Ernest Hoth was ring bearer. Best man was Elmer Allyn. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride attended by the near relatives only. The bride graduated from the Liberal Arts Department of the state university in June. Mr. Hoth will graduate from the Law Department of the University of Iowa next year. The young couple left Saturday for a brief visit in Chicago before taking their trip to the Western Coast.
