A very pretty wedding occurred at the Buck Creek M.E. church last Thursday evening when Miss Tone Sill became the bride of Mr. Clarence Thompson. Rev. V. C. Welch, pastor of the church officiating in the presence of the members of the immediate families.
Miss Zella Sill, sister of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly" and also played the wedding march with violin accompaniment.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Sill, prominent farmers of the Buck Creek community. She is an alumna of the Delhi consolidated school and attended Lenox college for a year. During the past year she has been deputy in the post office at this place. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Thompson, also prominent Farmers of the Buck Creek community. Since finishing his school work in the Buck Creek consolidated school he has been associated with his father on the farm.
Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will be at home at Hopkinton where both will be seniors at Lenox college the coming year.
