Miss Mae Becker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Becker of this place and Chan Frank Coulter, of Pittsburg, Pa., son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Coulter of Iowa City were united in marriage in the home of the bride's parents at 11:30 a.m. today by Rev. C. H. Franke, pastor of the Evangelical church. Only the nearest relatives were in attendance.
The bride was gowned in tan georgette and carried a bouquet of cream colored roses. Mrs. R. L. Morse sang "At Dawning," and "Because," while Mrs. E. C. Fitzpatrick played "Oh Promise Me," as the nuptial vows exchanged.
The bride is the elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Becker and has a host of friends here who wish Mr. and Mrs. Coulter much joy and happiness through their wedded life. They will reside at Pittsburg, Pa.
Those from a distance who were in attendance at the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Coulter of Iowa City, Paul Coulter and Mr. and Mrs. Hemingway and daughter Ada.
