Whittle - Holtz marriage - 1926

A very pretty wedding was held at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Greeley, Iowa, on October 6th, between Ambrose Whittle of Littleport and Miss Margaret Holtz of Greeley. Iowa. They were attended by a brother and a sister of the groom, Mr. Leo Whittle and Miss Harriet Whittle.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Holtz of Greeley and the groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Whittle of near Littleport.

The bride wore a rose georgette dress with hat to match and the groom was dressed in dark blue.

A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, after which the couple departed for Cedar Rapids and other points.

They will be at home about October 15th, on the groom's father's farm.
