Eckheart - Kottman marriage - 1926

Elkader Register, Thur., 18 Mar. 1926

This (Thursday) afternoon at the Evangelical parsonage, Rev. Franke united in marriage Miss Ruth Kottman and Arthur L. Eckheart, two of Elkader's popular young people.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kottman of Volga City, where she grew to womanhood. She came to Elkader several years ago and has made many friends here.

The groom is a son of George Eckheart and came here from Arlington where the family resided. He is a veteran of the Word War and was with the American Expeditionary Forces. Since his discharge from the army he has worked at various occupations and is now connected with the management of Hotel Bayless.

After a short wedding trip they will reside in the Eckheart home here at Elkader.

The sincere congratulations of many friends are extended to this young couple.
