Miss Lucille Jones and Mr. William Powers both of Guttenberg, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. Joseph Dupont at St. Mary's Catholic church in this city on Tuesday morning, in the presence of relatives and friends. Miss Genevieve Powers, sister of the groom, and Mr. Albert Gilbertz, friend of the groom, acted as attendants. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Jones of Colesburg, but for some time has been employed at the Commercial hotel in Guttenberg. She possesses all of the necessary qualifications to make a happy home for her husband. The groom is a son of Mrs. John Powers of Gutenberg and is an industrious young man, well worthy of his chosen bride. Mr. and Mrs. Powers will reside in Guttenberg for the present and their numerous friends wish them a long and prosper- (several words missing) young people who have won the respect of all who know them.
