Miss Cordelia Vorwald of Jefferson township and Mr. Louis Wagner of Elkader were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. Joseph Dupont at St. Mary's church in Guttenberg on last Thursday morning in the presence of a number of relatives and friends. The couple was attended by Miss Andean Vorwald and Mr. Alois Vorwald, sister and brother of the bride. The bride is a young lady of many accomplishments, and is held in the highest esteem by all in this community. She is highly qualified in every way to preside over a home of her own and will make a loving wife for the young man of her choice. The groom is an ambitious young man, who has won the respect of all who have had the pleasure of making his acquaintance. He is well worthy of his chosen bride. Mr. and Mrs. Wagner will reside at Elkader where Mr. Wagner is successfully engaged in the vulcanizing business and the best wishes of a host of friends go with them on their journey through life, as they are both most worthy young people.
