Vogt - Kahlbaum Marriage - 1926

This forenoon (Thursday) January 7th, at 10 o'clock a.m., at the Evangelical parsonage, Rev. Franke united in marriage Miss Leono Kahlbaum to Lester H. Vogt.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kahlbaum of Elkader and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Vogt of Farmersburg township.
The Misses Hattie Vogt and Hattie Kahlbaum acted as witnesses while the ceremony was performed by Rev. Franke using the double ring ceremony.

The young couple left on a wedding trip to South Dakota and after their return will go to housekeeping on the Vogt farm on the Elkader-McGregor road where their many friends wish them a long and happy wedded life.
