Strawberry Point

Monday morning, at 10 o’clock, while Bert Blanchard, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Blanchard was laying bricks on the new garage building being erected for Opperman & Campbell, he turned around to pick up some mortar from the mortar board, stepped on a loose board, lost his balance, and fell to the ground striking on his head and fracturing his skull.

Added by S. Ferrall on 11/25/2018:

Bert Blanchard survived the skull fracture & is still living in 1930 when he was the informant on his father's death certificate. (familysearch.org)
