McGregor: A very pretty wedding took place at the Congregational church last Sunday evening, August 7th, the contracting parties being Erwin Thier and Miss Norma Knapp. The groom is the son of the late Rev. Bernhardt Thier and Mrs. Lena Thier of McGregor. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Eugene Knapp of Elkader. The nuptial service was read by Rev. J. Priestly, pastor. Mr. and Mrs. Armin Thier, brother and sister of the bride and groom, attended the young couple. The newlyweds will make their home in McGregor.
