Gruel - Pruess Marriage - 1932

Luana: Miss Bernice Pruess, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pruess of Monona, and Wilbert Gruel, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gruel of Luana, were united in marriage at the Lutheran church Thursday afternoon by Rev. Kumpf, the groom's pastor, in the presence of the members of these families. They were attended by the bride's sister Alice, Mrs. Lester Doerring, and the groom's brother, Alvin. They will soon be "at home" to their friends on the Herman Gruel farm, a couple of miles northwest of Luana.
