Groth - Schroeder Marriage - 1932

The marriage of Miss Helen Schroeder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schroeder of Jefferson township, and Howard Groth, son of Mrs. John F. Groth of Guttenberg, took place at St. Paul's United Lutheran church in Guttenberg Saturday afternoon. The Rev. James Sopko performed the marriage ceremony in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. Both Mr. and Mrs. Groth are graduates of the Guttenberg high school and are worthy young people of many accomplishments, held in high esteem by all in this community. The newlyweds will reside at Colesburg, where Mr. Groth is operating a garage. The best wishes of a host of friends go with them on their journey through life.
