VOLGA: The marriage of Miss Mae Tripp of Arlington to Erwin Lamphier of this place was solemnized at the Sacred Heart church here at a 7:00 o'clock nuptial mass on Monday morning, Jan. 11th. The ceremony was performed by Rev. D. P. Cregan.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Tripp of Arlington. The groom, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lamphier, who reside near here.
The bride was attired in a gown of blue flat crepe with accessories to match, while the groom wore a suit of dark brown. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Malani Barnes, sister and brother-in-law of the groom.
Immediately following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom's parents, to only immediate members of the family. Following a motor trip, the newlyweds will be at home with the groom's parents, where Mr. Lamphier will engage in farming.
