Wednesday, Jan. 30th, at 11 o'clock a.m., at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Partch, in Elkader, occurred the marriage of their daughter Lelah and Mr. John Eibel. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. J. Stowers, pastor of the M.E. church at this place, in the presence of the family and a few intimate friends. Miss Ida Schmidt of Strawberry Point, acted as bridesmaid, and Andrew Stratton of Monona, as groomsman. The bride is a young lady well and favorably known, possessed of those accomplishments that tend to make her a helpmate to the husband she has won. The groom is a son of Adam Eibel, of Monona, and is an industrious young man worthy of the good fortune, which it is hoped may follow him and his bride. Mr. and Mrs. Eibel departed on the noon train and will make their home on the Eibel farm in Giard twp. They have our best wishes.
