PALMER

The residence of John Palmer in Mallory twp., caught fire early Saturday morning and burned to the ground, Mr. Palmer and family barely escaping with their lives. The building and contents were a total loss. The origin of fire is unknown. Lucky for John he is insured in the Farmer's Ins. Co. of Cedar Rapids, and will get his money. It pays to be insured with Krieb's. If you have a loss he looks after it for you.

Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Mar. 1901. Elkport and Vicinity column.
